He started Karate at age 5. Currently he is Third degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate graded by Hanshi Koos Burger of South African Shotokan Karate Academy.
He represented South Africa at the World united Karate Federation – world Championships in Dublin , Ireland.

Senior instructor at SASKA teaching Karate since 2016.
40 Medals between since 2007=2014
Represented Gauteng North and Gauteng From 2007 till 2014 in Both Tumbling and Gymnastics and completed in 8 South African Championships – South African Champion on 8 occasions .
Represented University of Pretoria High Performance Gymnastics’ team in Moscow: Russia
Two other instructors assist in the training of karateka - sensei Tommy Brindle (Sensei Wayne's father) and Sensei Wessel.
